Swire Coca-Cola Facility Expansion – Eugene, Oregon

LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon completed the land surveying, civil engineering, and construction engineering/surveying for a 25,000-square-foot expansion to the Swire Coca-Cola Facility in Eugene, Oregon.  LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon worked as the land surveying and civil engineering team member for a design-build team led by Big D Construction out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The pre-development site included a smaller distribution facility and parking.  LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon worked with the design-build team to develop and site layout for the facility expansion, maximizing good access and utilization of available land while minimizing construction costs.

To address stormwater runoff treatment at this industrial location, LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon designed an environmentally friendly vegetated sand filter.  This sand filter captures runoff from the hard surfaces of this site and removes pollutants prior to slowly releasing the runoff into a nearby drainage canal.

LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon also performed construction inspections throughout the life of the project to ensure construction was proceeding per plan and any issues identified during construction were quickly addressed.
