LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon provided Low Volume Road Design training using Softree RoadEng to The Campbell Group engineers and foresters.

Softree RoadEng is the Forest Industry standard in road design software. LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon has been using this software platform in its practice as professional logging engineers since 1997, completing the design of hundreds of miles of new low-volume roads.

Through this extensive use of Softree RoadEng to complete low-volume road design projects, LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon has developed an approach to design that works effectively and efficiently for logging road construction. LEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon has documented this approach in a training manual and accompanying DVD.

This training material has been perfected over the last 10 years and provides excellent prescriptive practices that foresters and logging engineers can quickly learn and deploy to properly address their logging road design needs.
