LEI Engineering & Surveying of Oregon deployed a new green stormwater treatment solution at the Marion County Recycling Center Expansion Project. We utilized the Smart Ditch system to intercept stormwater in a much more green fashion than traditional catch basins and pipping. We also over-designed the system beyond Marion County requirements to treat stormwater with vegetated swales to go beyond the requirements and treat stormwater further to improve water quality at a minimal cost increase to the landowner.
