LEI’s Response to COVID-19

We at LEI Engineering & Surveying of Oregon (LEI Oregon) have taken pride adhering to our core values including, “doing the right thing, the right way, even when it’s not the easy thing or way”. This has been the basis of our business model from day one and will be continue during these unprecedented times, as well as beyond.LEI Oregon is closely monitoring the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) at the global, federal, state, and local levels. We are committed to following our core values during this time of uncertainty for our employees, our clients, and our partners.

Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by this virus. Under extremely adverse circumstances we are seeing the best in many people in our communities as we unite to fight this global pandemic. The health, well-being, and safety of our employees, clients, partners, families, and communities remain our highest priority.

We want you to know and understand that LEI Oregon has put in place an “Action Plan” that will be implemented immediately. It has been created to assist our management as we continue to facilitate operations to complete projects for you our valued clients. This “Action Plan” also allows the flexibility to adjust quickly as required while we continually evaluate the ever-changing situation.

Please note some of the changes that will or may affect you as our clients.

  • We will be shifting the majority of staff to remote access (working from home)
  • We will be restricting all in-person meetings whenever feasible
  • We will be restricting access to our office to essential staff only
  • We will be restricting field surveying to minimize contact between our survey crew and the public

By implementing these adjustments quickly and strategically we strongly believe that we can minimize effects on projects we are currently working on with you, our valued client. This includes future projects as well, as they present in the coming months and beyond.

We ask that if you any need for additional information about a current project please contact the project manager assigned to your project. Any additional questions about LEI Oregon’s “Action Plan”, future projects and/or business management please contact Jamie Van Agtmael, President, 503-399-3828 ext. 104.

In closing, we want to ensure you that we are all in this together. First and foremost, we want to protect and preserve the health, well-being, and safety of everyone in our great state and country while maintaining our ability for LEI Oregon to provide services needed during and after these unprecedented times. We will persevere and adjust to our changing world; we will continue to provide you with all services we can safely provide and together we will continue to move forward in the future.
