LEI Engineering & Surveying of Oregon completed the surveying and design for a medium sized fish stream crossing on Savage Creek for access to a logging operation.  The crossing was located in steep and environmentally sensitive forested terrain in southern Oregon, near Grants Pass.  The portion of the savage creek drainage tributary to this crossing was 3.97 square miles and produced a 50-year storm flow of 450 cfs.

A 142" x 91" corrugated pipe arch was selected and designed as the permanent structure for this site, replacing a temporary railroad car bridge that had been used to access the area for logging activities.

LEI Engineering & Surveying of Oregon followed current Oregon Department of Forestry guidelines for the design of the new structure.
