Site Design for Green House Development - Oregon City, Oregon

organic-leasing-site-designLEI Engineering and Surveying of Oregon completed the land surveying, civil engineering, and construction engineering/surveying for a 20,000 square feet expansion to the Swire Coca Cola Facility in Bend, Oregon.  LEI performed as the land surveying and civil engineering team member for a design-build team lead by Big D Construction out of Salt Lake City, Utah. 
 
Erosion Control, Permitting, and Engineering Design:  LEI completed erosion control design and plan set in accordance to the DEQ 1200C permit, coordination with structural engineers for a retaining wall design, site grading and layout, offsite stormwater design and improvements, and final site plans for construction.

Public Utility Design and Stormwater Report: LEI determined existing utilities and sizing, obtained as-builts of existing facilities, calculated proposed and existing impervious surfaces, determined runoff from existing site and the proposed development, determined required detention and water quality for onsite flows, infiltration testing, prepared a Stormwater Report, prepared final plans for construction, prepared an engineer’s estimate, and prepared specifications as required.  This site required the design of two large drywells with testing per the City of Bend requirements to certify treatment capacity of the drywells.

Hardscape Design: LEI prepared horizontal and vertical site grading design and drawings for all new hardscape improvements, pedestrian features, and landscape areas; prepared horizontal and vertical design and drawings for proposed streets and site access; prepared a signing and striping plan; prepared an Engineer’s Estimate for hardscape improvements; and prepared specifications as required.

Construction Services: LEI has provided bid assistance, RFI response and submittal review, construction staking, and construction observation.
